Newly published video on IMPEL Pigs and Poultry Project

The livestock farming sector within the EU is a dynamic sector with its fair share of challenges, including environmental challenges. Within the ‘WG10’ IED pigs and poultry project group, we are working on a number of specific topics that are characteristic of this sector. This concerns, among other things, the impact on the Habitat Directives, in particular the nitrogen emissions or depositions thereof, manure application and the IED guidelines with regard to the livestock sector. This video highlights the challenges and biggest environmental bottlenecks within the sector and the project group studies on intensive livestock farms.
