JoNeF final meeting with site visit in Thessaloniki, 23-24 October 2024

On October 23 and 24, the JoNeF project team convened in Thessaloniki for their third and final in-person meeting. With 14 team members attending on-site and others joining remotely, the event marked an important milestone in the project’s development.

The main agenda for the gathering was the drafting of the guidance document. On October 24, the team conducted a site visit to Paiko Mountain, providing members with firsthand insights into the unique biodiversity of the area.

This meeting, held in a hybrid format, underscored the team’s commitment to fostering fungal conservation, a key goal of the JoNeF initiative under the IMPEL Network.
