Enforcement Actions-III/ 2013

Enforcement Actions-II/ 2011
Through joint inspections and exchange programs, the project sought to achieve a more adequate level of inspections across EU member states and improve international collaboration and knowledge sharing on waste shipment regulations. The project included 25 EU Member States and 7 other European countries, with 29 countries conducting inspections. Over 26,000 transports were inspected, and over 800 violations were identified. The project highlighted the need for continued efforts to harmonize enforcement practices, increase cooperation among national and international authorities, and address the ongoing problem of illegal waste shipments, particularly to non-OECD countries

Enforcement Actions-I/ 2008
The IMPEL-TFS Enforcement Actions I Project, conducted from September 2006 to June 2008, focused on improving the enforcement of the European Waste Shipment Regulation.
