Reporting to Public/ 2009
This report, published in November 2009, summarizes a project by the European Union Network for the Implementation and Enforcement of Environmental Law (IMPEL) on how European countries report environmental inspection information to the public. The project involved sending a questionnaire to EU member states and holding a seminar with participants from 14 countries. The report analyzes current practices, identifies good practices, and provides recommendations for improving public access to information about environmental inspections, including publishing inspection plans and key inspection data online, both in national languages and English.
