Satellite Images-Inspecting using Copernicus and UAV Data (2018)
This report summarizes the findings of the iCUD (Inspecting Using Copernicus and UAV Data) project. The project aimed to evaluate the use of Copernicus and UAV (drone) technology in environmental inspections. The report found that while both technologies are useful for environmental inspections, there is a lack of technical knowledge among some institutions on how to use them. The report also recommends increasing knowledge and capability among IMPEL members on the use of Copernicus and UAV technology for environmental inspections.
