EU-Afrika együttműködés

This workshop aimed to establish a network between European and African countries and launch the SBC E-waste Africa project's enforcement component. Key outcomes included a commitment to create a sustainable network in Africa to combat the illegal shipment of waste, particularly e-waste.

The report documents a two-week training event hosted by IMPEL on e-waste inspection and enforcement for 19 officers from Benin, Egypt, Ghana, and Nigeria. The training included theoretical sessions, practical exercises, and field trips to ports and e-waste facilities in the Netherlands and Belgium. The goal was to equip African officials to prevent illegal e-waste shipments and improve monitoring
