Planification de l'inspection des transferts de déchets

This document pertains to the Waste Shipment Inspection Planning (WSIP) project led by Germany within the IMPEL network. The project aimed to develop guidelines for planning waste shipment inspections and risk assessment, as required by amendments to the EU Waste Shipment Regulation. The report describes the project's background, objectives, participants, and the process of drafting the guidance document, including the collection of data from participating countries on existing inspection practices.

Under Regulation (EU) No 660/2014, EU Member States have to establish inspection plans for waste shipment inspections by 1st January 2017, in order to ensure the necessary capacity for inspections and effectively prevent illegal shipments.

Pursuant to the Recommendation providing for minimum criteria for environmental inspections (RMCEI) all inspection activities should be planned in advance.
