Doing the right things for environmental permitting is an ongoing project (2016-2018) that looks closely at the relation between permitting and inspection, identify interesting case studies and best practices in Europe and identify and describe the steps that could be used in permitting procedures.

Projekt: Doing the Right Things Methodology

Doing the right things for environmental permitting er et igangværende projekt (2016-2018), der ser nærmere på forholdet mellem tilladelse og inspektion, identificerer interessante casestudier og bedste praksis i Europa samt identificerer og beskriver de trin, der kan bruges i tilladelsesprocedurer.

Forslaget til dette 3-årige projekt er at: 1) indsamle og sammenligne de procedurer, der anvendes i Europa i øjeblikket, og afklare behovene, 2) på baggrund af disse oplysninger vil et projektteam udvikle en vejledning, der er fleksibel nok til at imødekomme myndighederne i Europa, mens de udsteder tilladelser til IED, 3) organisere træningssessioner om IED-tilladelser og identificere hullerne i værktøjer og metoder til udstedelse af tilladelser, så nye IMPEL-projekter kan igangsættes.

Det endelige resultat af arbejdet er en trinvis vejledning i udstedelse af tilladelser, veluddannede tilladelsesmedarbejdere og en identifikation af nye IMPEL-initiativer til projekter om udstedelse af tilladelser.

This guidance was produced under the 2012 IMPEL project: Environmental inspections of industrial installations in accordance with the Industrial Emissions Directive (IED) The main objective of this project was to organise an exchange of information concerning best practices for the implementation of article 23 of the IED taking into account the guidance on inspection planning and risk appraisal already developed by IMPEL and the requirements described in Article 23 of the IED.
