Energy and Environmental Law conference 2011
Terry Shears, Vice-Chair of IMPEL, spoke on behalf of the network to the Energy and Environmental Law conference 2011 in Dublin, Ireland on Thursday 17 February 2011.
Terry discussed the role of IMPEL in achieving better implementation (a European Commission priority) and more consistent implementation; he examined the way in which regulators can help achieve better regulation; how we can identify good practice through comparing what we do in different countries; and the value of international cooperation especially in difficult financial times.
