Lessons Learned from Accidents – 2002

This is the report of the 8th seminar on industrial accidents organised for the 4th time within the scope of the European IMPEL network in Dijon in June 2002.
In total 16 industrial accidents (in France, U.K., The Netherlands and Belgium) - are described, illustrating the installation, the accident and consequences in detail, origin, causes and circumstances of the accident and the action taken.

This report describes the results of the first review of Phase 3 of the IMPEL Review Initiative (IRI) Project. This review was carried out in October 2001 by the kind co-operation of Germany.
